Sunset Beach
is a gorgeous, sprawling two and a quarter mile beach along the SW sector of the island. Year-round sunshine allows for many long, lazy days sunning and funning. The folks in this picture are enjoying a popular island pastime of bodysurfing. Of course you may always do the real thing as surfboards can be rented at the MWR beach booth.

Beach parties! are all the rave at the Sunset Beach. Everyone has a good time! Quarterly events such as beach vollyball and surfing as well as pig-roasts add spice to the atmosphere. Beach hut rentals for over-nighters are also available.
